Reported  by Bob Jackson, this bird stayed until the following day at least, allowing a few local birders to see it.

This rather nice male Black Redstart was located by local birders on 28th February after previously been reported by a local resident who had seen it in his garden.  It was subsequently found to be visiting an area nearby which was accessible to birders.

In Buckinghamshire this species is a scarce winter visitor, migrant  or breeding bird.

This female Black Redstart was present from Mid October until Mid November at least.
