Manx Shearwater Puffinus puffinous

This bird was picked up exhausted in a garden near Aylesbury and handed into the RSPCA.  It is hoped the bird can be re-released at some time.

There are 19 accepted records of this species in the county and none accepted since 1996.  Many of these were picked up exhausted or dead.
