This pair of Stonechats were present in an area of planted scrubs and the fields by the side of the Jubilee River, Taplow.  A pair had been reported the previous week about a half a mile downstream and are presumably the same pair.

This  male Stonechat with features similar to Siberian Stonechat (S.t. maura) was thought to have been the same individual as seen in November 1998.   It was seen several times during January and also on 6th March.  It was confirmed as NOT being of the Siberian race.
