Bird Sightings

Seen an interesting bird?  Then let us know by submitting a record on our on-line database.  It is easy to do but if you need some instructions take a look at the Submit Sightings Page.  To view the latest sightings just click on the menu item for Latest Sightings.

Some birds are not uncommon in other parts of the country or around our coasts, but may be in Buckinghamshire.  If you want to see just how scarce a particular species is then take a look at the Bucks List.

The Next Indoor Meeting

The indoor meeting is on Thursday 1st February 2018 and is a talk by our own Mike WallenThe talk is called ‘Bucks Birding Through the Years’.

Mike has been a very keen birder for over 30 years and is one of the top birders in the county.  He has visited all of the major birding sites in the county at some time or other and has one of the biggest county lists.  Mike’s talk will probably cover a wide range of local topics and will no doubt touch on the success of the Aylesbury and MK Peregrines.

This should be a fascinating talk More information can be found on this link

The venue is as usual at Wendover Memorial Hall in Wharf Road.  Door open at 7:30pm for a 7:45pm start.  Entrance is free for members and £2 for non-members.   As usual refreshments will be available.
